Healing is Possible

Tropical Plant

Tricia Ebel Counseling is dedicated to healing the lives of men and women through individual and group therapy, retreats and writings.

If you have endured painful experiences in your past that negatively impact your present life, Tricia will work with you to heal the cause of your suffering so that you can live more freely today.

Counseling can feel like an intimidating endeavor to jump into at first. You will be pleasantly surprised at the level of ease and comfort you will find, even in the first session, with Tricia.

Do you ever find yourself thinking...

You tell yourself that “things aren’t that bad” or that you “should be grateful”, and yet you struggle to believe it’s true. Shaking these inner doubts has gotten more difficult to do. Now, you find yourself struggling to convey – and believe – that you have it all together. This inner dialogue is rarely discussed with anyone, however, because you find it deeply unsettling to share about yourself to others. You unconsciously push those you love away, and yet deeply desire to be in fulfilling relationships with others. It’s difficult to put words to the deep pain you’re carrying, and though you’ve tried to shut off your needs entirely, you’ve been unable to do so. Sometimes, part of you wishes you didn’t feel at all. Yet you somehow continue to long for someone will fully see you, that you’ll be intimately known, and still loved despite it all. But you also shudder when others get too close as you think about the cost.

Tricia is a therapist who knows how to fight for healing despite the devastation, for intimacy despite the terror, and for redemption despite the odds.

A note from Tricia:

"Like an explorer in an unknown land, we will walk arm in arm to wade into the deeper, softer territory that is your heart and soul. This land, though neglected, is still teeming with life, even as it starves for nourishment. You will learn to practice voicing what you’ve lived through and what you now need to begin to thrive. You will grow in your ability to listen to that still, small voice within that you’ve tried to turn down. You will learn to make changes that honor, heal, and grow the person you’ve always suspected you’re meant to be. This complex and deep work isn’t for the faint of heart. But I am an intimately kind guide who can take us into the places you’ve likely known you've needed to go into for a long time.

I am a licensed professional counselor who has gone through intensive schooling and my own inner healing work to be both willing and capable to do this kind of therapy that incorporates narrative and here-and-now practices. From discussing the latest triggering event to uncovering where you harbor self-hatred, I know how to lead you into more fulfilling practices that will heal – and not further harm – your heart and your life.

Are you ready to begin this part of your journey?"
